Each quarter one of our excellent team members at Synergy Comp is placed in the employee spotlight for going above and beyond their typical job duties while exhibiting Synergy’s Core Values.
Meet this Quarter’s Employee Spotlight
This quarter, we had the opportunity to recognize Michele Burger!
Michele, who joined the team in 2018 as a Claims Manager, and recently transitioned to Claims Coordinator. She continues to propel Synergy forward by initiating and living each day with passion and dedication.
Michele’s Contributions
Kelly Fabian, Team Lead of Claims Services, nominated Michele for exhibiting Synergy Comp’s following core values: Embracing Teamwork and Living Each Day with Passion and Dedication.
“Michele has gone above and beyond her essential functions and daily agenda by helping out our claims team. She has taken it upon herself to review and complete diaries from the claims manager team to assist them as the team plans to bring on additional team members,” Kelly expressed. Michele continues to show how her claims manager and services skills truly make our department more efficient but also a more cohesive team. “Thank you Michele for always helping us focus on teamwork.”
The recognition does not stop there.
Team member Jackie Frias also wanted to highlight Michele. “Michele is always ready to help when needed. She starts her workday and without hesitation, she takes some of my diaries and completes them. I just want to let her know I appreciate everything she does.”
We are grateful, here at Synergy, to have such extraordinary team members that are focused on continuous improvement and transformation. It is this passion and dedication that really makes Synergy what it is today and will propel us forward.

To learn more about Michele, we asked her the following questions:
What are 3 things we may not know about you?
- I used to work in a rare coin/antique shop and specialized in foreign coins.
- I have a degree in history with a double major in archaeology and political science.
- I’ve worked in an archaeology lab for over 13 years, mostly restoring pottery from the early bronze age from a dig in jordan.
If you could speak to your 13 old self, what would you say?
- Don’t worry, the braces will come off shortly.
What is one thing you could not live without?
- Coffee and popcorn
Where is your favorite place to be, and why?
- On my back patio with a glass of wine because it is the most relaxing place
What are you most proud of?
- My son
What is your biggest aspiration?
- To be the best mother to my son and pup
What is most rewarding about your job, what makes it worthwhile?
- The relationships I have with my accounts and coworkers are the most rewarding part of the job.
